Island Conservation Initiatives

Island Conservation Initiatives (ICI) was established in 1995 by FSPV as a trading arm. ICI was created to enable FSPV to become less dependent on donor funding through business initiatives that are in line with FSPV's objectives of sustainable development. 

ICI's Mission is to:

	Support and promote sustainable utilization of natural resources to generate income for both rural and urban Ni -Vanuatu;
	Promote conservation of natural resources through education and training;
	Secure markets for the sale of crafts and other products made from local resources and to
	Enable FSPV to be less donar reliant and more self-sustaining

All enterprises developed by ICI have a primary business activity that is consistent with the preservation and maintenance of the environmental resources of Vanuatu.
